Noosa Swell

I was shooting at Main Beach early in the morning so as to avoid the crowds. Once I had taken several images of the beach itself, I turned my attention to a beautiful soft rolling swell forming to my left. Normally in order to get a great wave shot, you need to get right into the water and have a waterproof housing on the camera, however on such a calm morning, I simply waded out to knee deep! As each wave broke, I noticed a rainbow appearing and composed my image to coincide with this quirky gift from Mother Nature.
