Při túře zasněženou krajinou za mrazivého prosincového večera jsem zahlédl měsíc mezi břízami. Uchvácen jsem sledoval, jak jeho světlo proniká chladným nočním vzduchem, až jsem konečně prolomil kouzlo a zachytil ten okamžik navždy na film. V lese toho večera bylo jen ticho – ptáci, kteří mě ráno vítali, mlčeli, a já měl pocit, že jsem na míle daleko jediný tvor..
The moonlit glow through those snowy trunks is captured so vividly it feels like I’m back on that Telluride trail, shivering and awestruck. That frozen December moment comes through perfectly in the pale light and shadow detail.
The contrast between the pale birches and the deep blue night really captures that Telluride cold—I keep staring at how the moonlight seems to glow right through the branches. It's the kind of piece that makes you feel like you're standing there in the snow yourself.
The snow and the moon through those birches make me feel like I'm right back in Telluride on that freezing December night. The light cutting through the cold air is captured perfectly, and it's already my favorite piece for a dark wall.
