Coming from Australia, the Atlantic coastline was a new experience to me – the light, the sound and the smells. On that blustery day, the wind was fierce, yet the beach still had a great vibe to it. In solitude, I meticulously framed the scene, feeling a connection with the untamed beauty, a delicate wooden fence lining the path to the ocean.
As the sun gracefully touched the horizon, it cast its warm glow over the shifting sands and the iconic wooden fences. In that moment, I knew this scene was destined for black and white, a choice that added timelessness and a sense of nostalgia to the photograph.
