I captured this powerful angle of the Bay Bridge from Treasure Island as it spans the harbor to San Francisco. I composed my shot so that the lights on the bridge lead the eye straight down to the city skyline and the Christmas lights of the Embarcadero building. After an overcast day with heavy skies and fog, a break in the clouds lit up the evening sky and added an unexpected luminosity to the image.
