Der Waimoku-Wasserfall stürzt über 400 Fuß eine steile Lavafelswand hinab und ist einer der beeindruckendsten Wasserfälle auf Maui. Der ungewöhnliche Winkel, in dem das Wasser aus dem Berg hervortrat, machte meine Komposition ziemlich schwierig, aber ich liebte den vielstufigen Effekt und wollte so viel Höhe wie möglich einfangen. Ich rahmte meine Aufnahme eng zwischen den farnbedeckten Wänden ein, sodass das Wasser zum Hauptfokus wurde, und nutzte die Felsen im Vordergrund, um Perspektive zu schaffen, während ich nach oben fotografierte, um so viel wie möglich von diesen atemberaubenden Fällen einzufangen.
