Shipwreck Coast

I braved the cliffs of the Shipwreck Coast in appropriately stormy weather. Descending to the beach in the near dark was a perilous task. I waded out into the shallows and set up with the anchor in my foreground. Driving wind and stinging sea spray pushed my equipment to the limit, however I was looking to capture the true essence of the site so knew that these extreme conditions would only complement the result. As the wind dropped slightly I shot this image, using the movement of the ocean to tell its haunting story.
