Vietin muutaman päivän patikoiden Blue Mountainsin poluilla ja törmäsin tähän herkkään vesiputoukseen, joka laski täydelliseen, matalaan altaaseen. Valitsin pystysuuntaisen sommittelun vahvuuden vuoksi; halusin tuoda esiin etualan värikkäät kivet. Vaikka puro oli vain pieni noro, se korosti haluamaani kuvaa ja täydensi kehyksen.
The sound of that waterfall hitting the pool was pure meditation after a long morning hike. The water is crystal clear and the perfect depth for cooling your feet without any fear of slipping.
That shallow pool is dangerously inviting after a long hike—I sat there for almost an hour just listening to the water. The way the light hit the cascade around 3pm made the whole scene look unreal. Easily the highlight of my Blue Mountains trip.
The way the waterfall fans out just before it hits the pool is mesmerizing—I sat there for a good twenty minutes watching the light catch the spray. Even with a few other hikers around, it felt completely my own.
