Chaque fois que je prends l'avion, j'emporte toujours mon appareil photo et j'essaie d'avoir le siège côté hublot. Le Linhof est encombrant et peu pratique, et on me fait toujours des remarques sur mes bagages à main, mais en matière de photographie, je ne prends jamais de risques. Le jour où je laisserais mon appareil dans un bagage à main serait le jour de la « photo du siècle », mais pas cette fois. Je ne me lasse jamais des nuages ; ils me fascinent vraiment – juste flottant là... J'ai chargé mon appareil, l'ai pressé contre le hublot pendant des heures et pris de nombreuses pellicules. J'ai choisi cette image pour les galeries car elle capture toute l'ambiance du vol.
