There’s a gentle mystique to shooting in the fall. Along the banks of a quiet stream in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, the rain had deepened every color. As I hiked, I came upon a spot where the trees from both sides of the water met perfectly in the middle — a natural frame of gold and crimson. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and fallen leaves. In that peaceful silence, I felt completely connected to the season’s calm beauty and pressed the shutter to capture the moment.
