Il giorno in cui ho scattato questa foto era il compleanno di Ansel Adams, l'uomo responsabile di alcune delle più iconiche immagini in bianco e nero dello Yosemite. Avevo trascorso alcuni giorni a Yosemite con brutto tempo, ma ho resistito perché non c'è niente di meglio per scatti drammatici che fotografare una tempesta che si schiarisce. Sono salito fino a Inspiration Point sotto una coltre di nebbia fitta. Nel corso di alcune ore, la nebbia si è dissipata e si è posata sul fondo della valle. Bridal Veil Falls sembrava brillare mentre si riversava fuori dal suo rifugio montuoso. Questo posto è una Mecca per i fotografi, e giustamente: deve essere uno dei luoghi più belli del mondo. Questo scatto si è composto davanti ai miei occhi, tutti gli elementi della natura in perfetta armonia.
