Ava ★★★★★

The crater floor glows through this piece in a way that stops me every time I glance at it—that pre-dawn tension between black lava and pale moonlight is captured perfectly. It’s hanging above my desk now, and I keep finding myself lost in the texture of those crunchy, smoldering ridges.

Hazel ★★★★☆

The eerie, electric mood of that pre-dawn lava hike really does come through in this piece, almost like I can feel the crunch of the lava underfoot. I only wish the description went on a bit longer to capture more of the actual scenery.

Avery ★★★☆☆

The moonlight-over-lava scene in the description really comes through in the color palette, but the piece feels a bit flat unless you catch it under direct light. I’ve had it up for two weeks and it’s growing on me, though I wish the texture matched the volcanic crunch it hints at.
