Le Sette Piscine Sacre sono il punto in cui l'acqua dolce dei fiumi di montagna incontra l'oceano. È un luogo incredibilmente speciale, e volevo catturare la vera atmosfera del posto. Durante il giorno è una popolare meta per nuotare, ma all'alba e al tramonto, privo di folla e rumore, si trasforma completamente. Avevo molto a cui pensare, mentre osservavo le diverse forme delle onde che si incontravano, così come le mutevoli bande di nuvole e colori all'orizzonte. Il sole illuminava le texture delle rocce e i motivi opposti delle onde attirano l'occhio al centro dello scatto. Usando una composizione verticale, sapevo che avrei aggiunto forza a questa immagine già potente.
