早朝の森には本当に魔法のようなものがあります。湿った空気の香り、ひんやりとした清々しさ、そして雰囲気。私はワシントン州フォークスから暗闇の中を車で森の入り口へ向かいました。この作品には柔らかく曇った光が必要でした。晴れた空はムードを壊し、葉にホットスポットを作り、つまりコントラストが強くなりすぎるからです。森が明るくなり始めるとすぐに、私の脈拍は速まりました。私は手つかずの森の中を狂人のように駆け回り、撮影に適した場所を必死に探しました。霧の中から太陽が差し込むのを見て、これを決めなければならないと悟りました。葉に覆われた古い倒木が自然なラインを提供し、神々の光が轟々と降り注ぎました！これだ、とシャッターを切り、決して忘れられない瞬間を捉えました。
I’m still thinking about that cold, quiet stillness right before dawn — the way the forest smells like rain and pine all at once. The drive from Forks was totally worth it, and the whole scene felt like it was made just for me. If you need to reset your head, this is the place.
The Pacific Northwest air here is unreal—crisp, clean, and full of that earthy forest scent you can almost taste. Standing in the quiet stillness as dawn broke over the Olympic terrain, I felt completely at peace. Worth every mile driven in the dark.
The moisture in the air hits you the second you step out, and the way the light filters through the pines feels almost sacred. I caught it just before sunrise, and the quiet was so deep I could hear my own heartbeat. Totally worth the pre-dawn drive.
