この場所は本当に壮観で、その美しさを最大限に引き出す究極のロケーションを探し求めていました。部分的に曇り空の下でセットアップし、滝のアーチに光が遊ぶ様子を眺めながら、轟音を上げる滝にできるだけ近づけて三脚を設置しました。その騒音は驚くべきもので、「まさにその場にいる」という感覚は、霧と美しさに囲まれて、圧倒的でした。ショットに納得するためには、ドラマチックなアングルが必要でした。崖っぷちに立ち、これほど記念碑的なものにこれほど近づくことは、力強い体験でした。このフレームを撮ったとき、ターコイズブルーの色が鮮やかに浮かび上がり、滝全体が轟きました。決して忘れることのない瞬間でした。
The water here feels almost electric with energy, and I loved how the shifting clouds painted the arch in constant, changing hues. I could have stayed for hours just watching the light dance across the spray.
The mist hung low enough that the arch looked like it was cut from silver, and the way the light shifted through it every few minutes kept me planted for over an hour. I've seen a lot of waterfalls, but this one’s sheer scale makes everything else feel like a garden hose.
I drove three hours just to see it and the overcast sky made the falls look even more powerful than in any photo I've seen. Standing right at the edge of the arch, you can feel the spray hitting your face from twenty feet away — absolutely worth every mile.
