ケアンズから北へ3時間、オーストラリアで最も標高が高く、最も人里離れた熱帯雨林の中に、手つかずのデインツリー国立公園の秘密が隠されています。私は森の中を曲がりくねって流れるこの驚くほど澄んだ小川をハイキングで遡り、三脚を設置してこの風景を撮影しました。完成した画像を見ると、ひんやりとした澄んだ山の空気を感じ、水晶のように透き通った小川のささやきが聞こえてくるかのようです。
The bottle survived the hike to the lookout without a scratch, and the water inside stayed cool even after hours in the tropical heat. That crispness made the whole trek feel worth it.
