프랑스의 전형적인 라벤더 지역을 몇 주 동안 촬영한 후, 덜 알려진 길을 탐험하며 이 상징적인 풍경의 진정한 정신을 찾기로 했습니다. 흙길 아래로 펼쳐진 시대를 초월한 풍경이 눈앞에 펼쳐졌을 때, 인내심은 보상받았습니다.
낮게 깔린 구름이 완벽한 요소를 더해 무대를 준비했습니다. 촬영할 시간이었고, 셔터 소리와 수천 마리 벌들의 윙윙거림을 들으며 촬영한 것은 결코 잊지 못할 경험이었습니다. 나무는 예술 작품 같았고, 신중한 구성을 요구하는 강력한 초점을 제공했습니다.
색상은 매 순간 변하며 끊임없이 새로운 장면을 만들어 냈습니다. 정말 자연이 선사하는 가장 장관인 광경 중 하나였습니다!
The way the morning light hits the rolling hills in this shot makes my whole kitchen feel calmer. The print’s colors are so true to what I remember of Provence, not oversaturated like so many others I looked at. It’s the first thing guests comment on when they walk in.
I’ve stared at this print every morning since it arrived, and the less-traveled roads the photographer chose really do capture a quieter side of Provence. The depth in the light and fields pulls you right in. It’s my favorite piece in the house now.
The wide-open Provence views in this print pull me straight back to that golden morning light, and the composition feels like it's breathing. It's framed above my desk now, and I catch myself zoning out into the lavender fields every single day.
