하와이 빅아일랜드는 지구상에서 제가 가장 좋아하는 장소 중 하나입니다. 너무 다양하고, 강렬하며, 외지고, 그럼에도 불구하고 친밀한 곳이죠. 저는 그날의 느낌 그대로, 마음에서 우러나오는 대로 촬영합니다. 외딴 해변에서 촬영을 마치고 돌아오는 길에 개울을 건넜는데, 물가에 반사된 색채의 물결이 눈에 띄었습니다. 아름다운 구름이 그 위에 얽혀 완벽한 낭만적인 장면을 완성했습니다. 이런 장면은 제 기억 속에 영원히 남습니다.
