Five straight trips and I finally caught the lava hitting the ocean at night—this footage captures that raw orange glow better than anything I've shot myself. The way it documents the island's shifting coastline over those years makes it feel like a time capsule. Worth every penny for anyone who's e

The opening sequence had me holding my breath—that raw power of the lava meeting the ocean is captured so vividly it felt like I was standing right there on the lookout again. It's the closest thing to being back on the Big Island without the flight.
