O Artist Point foi definitivamente nomeado por uma razão. Esta foto até parece uma pintura. Pus o despertador para começar cedo e dirigi-me ao rugido das quedas de água. Toda a cena estava coberta de nevoeiro quando cheguei ao ponto. Fiquei desanimado. Percorri o caminho enquanto esperava que o nevoeiro dissipasse. 30 minutos depois, montei a minha câmara e a luz da manhã cedo iluminou os penhascos e as quedas de água. Foi um espetáculo de luz que nunca esquecerei, especialmente considerando que minutos antes não conseguia ver nada. Carreguei no obturador e senti-me muito bem. Pouco depois, o nevoeiro dissipou-se e foi apenas mais um dia normal. O timing é tudo: adoro esta sensação. Senti que tinha acabado de ver outro mundo.
