私はいつも、風景の中にある明白なものよりもさらに深くを見ようと努めています。真冬のコロラド山脈の山頂を1週間以上撮影していました。今朝、機材を手に取り、スノーシューを装着して凍った川床をトレッキングしました。一晩で降り積もった新雪が、抽象的なキャンバスを提供してくれました。
山の影に守られながら、一連の抽象写真を撮影しました。カメラを通して見ると、裸の女性のシルエットが浮かび上がり、この作品を「アイス・プリンセス」と名付けました。
