저는 일출 촬영을 위해 조수를 연구하고 구도를 계획하기 위해 전날 저녁 와인글래스 베이에 도착했습니다. 썰물 때 드러나고 강조된 바위 해안선이 두드러지는 이 장소를 선택했습니다. 새벽이 다가오자, 지평선 너머로 떠오르는 거대한 황금빛 태양의 모습에 넋을 잃어 거의 촬영을 잊을 뻔했습니다! 강해지는 햇빛이 바위 표면을 비추고 밀물과 썰물이 그 위로 넘실거리면서 장면은 백 번도 더 변했습니다. 눈앞에서 펼쳐지는 장면을 보며, 저는 대자연이 새로운 하루를 맞아 팔을 뻗는 모습을 상상했고, 이 아름다운 쇼를 목격할 수 있는 특권을 누렸다고 느꼈습니다.
The fine-art print captures the wet sand reflections from that pre-dawn study of the tide better than I could have hoped for. The light on the exposed granite is so crisp it feels like I'm standing back at the bay, and the paper quality makes the blacks really hold their depth.
