일출은 항상 제가 가장 좋아하는 촬영 대상 중 하나입니다. 새로운 하루가 깨어나고, 무슨 일이 일어날지 알 수 없죠. 강한 바람이 일주일 동안 불어온 후, 잔잔한 아침이 올 것임을 알았습니다. 손전등을 들고 해변으로 걸어가 장비를 설치했습니다. 매혹적이었습니다. 지평선 너머로 풍부한 노란색과 주황색이 밤의 푸른색과 부드럽게 어우러지며 펼쳐지는 모습을 바라보는 것은. 낸터킷 해안의 얕은 물에 자연의 만화경 같은 색채가 완벽하게 반사되었고, 저는 셔터를 눌렀습니다. 제 인내심은 보상받았습니다. 몇 분 후 바람이 아침의 선물을 앗아갔지만, 그 순간을 포착하기 위해 그곳에 있었다는 사실에 감사할 뿐입니다.
