마운트 데저트 섬에서 자연의 조화 속에 가문비나무 숲이 바람에 휩쓸린 해안선까지 닿아 있습니다. 해변의 둥근 자갈과 절벽의 톱니 모양 분홍색 화강암 면의 대비가 마음에 들어 아주 특별한 이미지를 포착할 수 있으리라 확신했습니다. 새벽이 오기 훨씬 전에 해변에 도착하여, 머나먼 이 바위 해변에 앉아 해를 기다리던 순간을 잊지 못할 것입니다. 바다 냄새, 얼굴에 닿는 소금기 있는 물보라, 머리 위를 지나가는 갈매기 울음소리는 대자연의 힘이 얼마나 특별하고 경이로운지 다시금 깨닫게 해주었습니다. 자연은 내 눈앞에 섬세하게 새벽을 그려냈고, 내가 해야 할 일은 셔터를 닫아 그 순간을 담는 것뿐이었습니다.
I’ve been to Acadia a half dozen times and never noticed how the spruce line meets the shore until this shot—the contrast is exactly what I remember, just wetter and wilder. It’s now sitting on my desk, and every glance pulls me right back to that salty breeze.
The rounded pebbles on this section of Acadia coastline are incredibly satisfying to walk over, and the contrast against the deep green spruce forest makes it feel almost surreal. I ended up staying way longer than planned just watching the waves roll in. Really glad I bought this.
The spruce trees pressing right up against the surf is a sight I didn't expect to love this much, and the contrast with those smooth, rounded pebbles makes the whole coastline feel alive. Every time I look at this, I'm back on that windswept trail, hearing the water.
