아티스트 포인트는 분명히 그렇게 불릴 만한 곳이었습니다. 이 사진은 마치 그림처럼 보입니다. 저는 알람을 맞춰 일찍 출발해 폭포의 굉음이 들리는 곳으로 향했습니다. 제가 도착했을 때는 온 장면이 안개로 덮여 있었습니다. 저는 낙담했습니다. 안개가 걷히기를 기다리며 길을 서성였습니다. 30분 후 카메라를 설치했고, 이른 아침 햇빛이 절벽과 폭포를 비추기 시작했습니다. 그것은 제가 절대 잊지 못할 빛의 향연이었습니다. 불과 몇 분 전만 해도 아무것도 보이지 않았다는 점을 생각하면 더욱 그랬습니다. 저는 셔터를 누르며 기분이 좋았습니다. 곧 안개가 걷히고 그저 평범한 하루가 되었습니다. 타이밍이 모든 것입니다. 저는 그 느낌을 사랑합니다. 마치 다른 세상을 본 것 같았습니다.
