와이모쿠 폭포는 400피트가 넘는 높이에서 수직으로 떨어지는 용암 암벽을 따라 흐르며, 마우이에서 가장 인상적인 폭포 중 하나입니다. 산에서 쏟아져 내리는 독특한 각도 덕분에 구도를 잡기가 상당히 어려웠지만, 다층으로 이루어진 효과가 마음에 들어 최대한 많은 높이를 담고 싶었습니다. 양치류로 덮인 벽 사이로 프레임을 좁혀 물이 주된 초점이 되도록 했고, 전경의 바위를 사용해 원근감을 더했으며, 숨 막히는 폭포를 최대한 많이 담기 위해 위를 향해 촬영했습니다.
