Being atop the 10,000 volcano was such a contrast of the ocean shores of Lahaina where I had traveled from just hours ago. The temperature change was serious and I felt as though I was on the moon. These incredible Silver sword cactus rise out of bare rock and are only found on this volcano. As the sun set the wind picked up and clouds swirled in the valley. The cactus was such an awesome shape as if it was hand carved. As I pressed the shutter the whole scene looked like a painting. You can see the clouds blurred as they rushed by. I drove down the mountain back to reality.
