These pristine waterfalls have to be one of the most amazing places. The mossy garden in the foreground and the huge logs perfectly framed this shot. Volcanic activity from millions of years ago had formed the perfect terrace for the water to flow down and the long exposure helped capture softness and the serenity of the area. Heavy rain the previous night opened nature’s flood gates, allowing me to set up my tripod in a virtual cloud of mist. Just looking at this shot takes me back to the area, and I can almost feel my lungs filling with the fresh mist.
