The lush peaks and valleys of Mount Otemanu cascading to the coral gardens of the crystal-clear lagoon below. The perfect balance of elements is pretty hard to beat.
Each day was spent searching the azure waters and classic white sand beaches by boat — but returning back each night to this location — knowing this was the place to capture the twilight aura. Finally, after a week of chasing the elusive sunset, persistence paid off and the colors popped.
As evening approached, swirling patterns appeared in the sky — the afterglow reflecting in the calm waters. The light continued to intensify, a fiery orange glow spread into the blue night sky, creating a truly magical moment.
