To experience a dawn in the shadow of the Three Sisters is almost like reliving the Dawn of Time. As the rising sun caressed these incredible ancient icons, their changing forms and textures took my breath away. In order to convey the sheer majesty of my surrounds, I swung the camera round to a vertical shot to encompass the depth and sweep of the valley and the imposing height of the Three Sisters. In a chameleon of colour change, within minutes of this shot the valley was bathed in a wash of golden light, and the day had arrived.
