Há algo de verdadeiramente especial naquele velho cais clássico. Leva-nos para outro lugar – para outro sítio – de paz total. A forma e a composição artística deste cais cativaram-me por completo – só precisei de esperar pela noite certa para capturar a sua beleza. Fotografei a cena durante algumas noites, mas não consegui afastar-me até que estivesse perfeita. Ao preparar-me nesta noite, senti uma vibração – nuvens do final da tarde chegaram rapidamente e o pôr do sol iluminou o local como uma árvore de Natal. Rezei para que as luzes dos postes se acendessem enquanto as cores atingiam o auge – isso fez a cena.
