Desde que fotografei uma das minhas primeiras imagens de galeria dos campos de lavanda na Tasmânia, Austrália, sempre sonhei em fotografar a Provença, no sul de França – onde se encontram os mais belos campos de lavanda. A combinação de charme e história fez este sonho tornar-se realidade. As minhas expectativas foram superadas.

Depois de passar cinco semanas à procura e a explorar cada pequena aldeia pitoresca e estrada secundária na Provença – esta cena mágica finalmente revelou-se. Foi uma semana intensa – dia após dia a começar às 3 da manhã e dias de 20 horas antes de conseguir a luz e o ambiente certos para criar a imagem dos sonhos – Le Rêve. A imagem final conta a história exatamente como era estar lá – uma sobrecarga sensorial de beleza e aquele inconfundível aroma calmante de lavanda.
