I’ve been staring at this print of Canyonlands every morning with my coffee, and the layers of rock just pull me into that quiet, ancient stillness. The sense of depth in that canyon landscape is something I’ve never felt from a photo before—it pulls you right in. I’ve stared at it every evening since it arrived, and each time I notice a new shadow or layer that makes the ancient stillness feel almost tangible.
The colors in this capture of Canyonlands shift beautifully as the light changes, which kept drawing my eye back to it. I just wish the frame had come with a mat, since finding one to fit was a bit of a hassle.
