哥倫比亞河峽谷是一座真正的隱藏聖地。一條脆弱如寶石般的秘境，位於危險、長滿苔蘚的狹縫峽谷盡頭。暴雨、創紀錄的降雨量，以及連續兩週無休止的暴雨導致峽谷氾濫——這正是拍攝的絕佳時機！
這片驚人的場景充滿了障礙，要抵達現場相當艱鉅。時機、毅力，還有一點瘋狂，都是必備條件。從河流出口逆流而上充滿變數，但非做不可。巨大的浮木堆積和水潭需要齊胸深的涉水。保護器材不被浸濕是首要任務。帶著故障的器材抵達現場毫無意義。唯一的通道是穿越狹窄的懸崖峭壁——必須將器材高舉過頭。
經歷如此暴雨後，只有一個可能的拍攝視角——直接站在溪流正中央。當水勢轟鳴穿過峽谷，霧氣和雨水覆蓋了相機。憑藉純粹的腎上腺素和本能拍攝的幾張曝光，創造了奇蹟。
陽光穿透雲層，在瞬間照亮了峽谷岩壁——增添了一種超現實、神秘的感受。敬畏是唯一能形容這景象的詞語。多麼棒的地點，多麼大的挑戰，多麼精彩的作品！
The moss-covered canyon detail is so sharp it feels like you could reach into the frame, and the stormy lighting gives it a moody depth that photos rarely capture. Only wish the print came in a larger size for my living room wall, but the quality itself is spot on.
The print really captures that misty, moss-covered slot canyon feel—the greens and grays are almost impossibly vivid on paper. Only wish the frame options had included a slightly larger size, since the detail deserves to be seen up close.
The rainfall and flooding are captured beautifully, and the moss detail does come through sharply. I do wish the print felt a bit more immersive in person, but it’s still a nice piece to look at.
