フランスのラベンダーの名所を数週間かけて撮影した後、あまり知られていない道を探索し、この象徴的な風景の真の精神を探し求める時が来ました。粘り強い努力が報われ、この農園の風景が、未舗装の小道を見下ろす時代を超えた眺めとともに広がりました。
低い雲に覆われた空が、舞台を完璧に演出しました。シャッターを切る音と、何千もの蜂の羽音が背景に響く中での撮影は、決して忘れられない体験でした。木はまるで芸術作品のようで、慎重な構図を必要とする強い焦点を提供してくれました。
色は刻々と変化し、絶えず新しい風景を創り出しました。まさに母なる自然が生み出す最も壮観な光景の一つです！
The way the morning light hits the rolling hills in this shot makes my whole kitchen feel calmer. The print’s colors are so true to what I remember of Provence, not oversaturated like so many others I looked at. It’s the first thing guests comment on when they walk in.
I’ve stared at this print every morning since it arrived, and the less-traveled roads the photographer chose really do capture a quieter side of Provence. The depth in the light and fields pulls you right in. It’s my favorite piece in the house now.
The wide-open Provence views in this print pull me straight back to that golden morning light, and the composition feels like it's breathing. It's framed above my desk now, and I catch myself zoning out into the lavender fields every single day.
