毎年夏になると、プロヴァンスでは、フランスの田園地帯のなだらかな丘陵地帯に、紫色の爆発が何マイルにもわたって広がります。
ヴァランソルのラベンダーの名所を数週間かけて撮影した後、私はあまり知られていない道を探索し、この象徴的な楽園の真の精神を探し求める時が来ました。隠れた未舗装の小道を見下ろす時代を超越した眺めが広がるこの農地の風景に出会ったとき、粘り強さが報われました。
低い雲が、舞台を設定する完璧な要素を加えました。シャッターの音と、何千もの蜂の羽音を背景に、撮影する時が来ました。それは決して忘れられない体験でした。夕日が放つ金色の色合いが、ラベンダーの列に別の次元を加えました。木はまるで芸術作品のようで、慎重な構図を必要とする強い焦点を加えていました。色は刻々と変化し、常に新しいシーンを創り出していました。まさに母なる自然が生み出す最も壮観な光景の一つです！
