飛行機に乗る時はいつもカメラを持ち込み、窓側の席を取るようにしています。リンホフはかさばって扱いにくく、機内持ち込み荷物について毎回厳しく言われますが、写真に関しては絶対に妥協しません。カメラを預け荷物にする日が来たら、それは「最高の一枚」を逃す日になるでしょう。でも今回は違います。雲にはいつも魅了されます。ただそこに浮かんでいるだけで…私はカメラをセットし、何時間も窓に押し付けて何本もフィルムを撮りました。この作品をギャラリーに選んだのは、フライト全体の雰囲気を完璧に捉えていたからです。
