アメリカの風景の壮大な偉大さが、写真家としての私に本当にインスピレーションを与えてくれました。峡谷を見下ろす崖の端に立ち、その壮大な美しさに圧倒されました。先週、信じられないような夏の嵐がありました。公園にいた私は、今夜何か大きなことが起こる予感がしていました。お気に入りの場所までハイキングし、夕日を撮影する準備をしていると、電気を帯びた青空が燃えるような雲に覆われました。雷鳴が谷に響き渡る中、一連のショットを撮影し、この1枚をギャラリー用に選びました。
The print captures the layered rock formations so sharply that I can almost feel the dry Utah heat just looking at it. It’s hung above my desk and every time I glance over, I’m back on that cliff edge, breathless.
The colors of the canyon at sunset are so true to the real thing it's like having the overlook right in my living room. Everyone who's seen it on my wall has stopped to ask where I took the photo.
The depth in this print is unreal—you can almost feel the cliff edge dropping away into the canyon. Framed it in our hallway and guests keep stopping to ask where it was shot.
