照明がすべてです。私はこのアーチの構図を見つけ、この雄大なアーチを通して別世界を見渡すような、驚くべき可能性を秘めていると確信しました。必要なのは、適切な照明だけでした。前日の日の出にこのシーンを撮影しましたが、照明には満足していませんでした。平坦で退屈だったのです。別の表情が必要でした。雲ひとつない晴天が5日間続くのを待ちましたが、5週間のように感じられました。ようやく6日目に雲が集まっているのに気づき、10回目の巡礼の旅としてアーチへ向かいました。期待に胸を膨らませ、二重アーチを慎重にフレーミングしてセットアップしました。数分間、色彩が強まり、私はシャッターを切りました。その光景は原始的な絵画のようで、一羽の鷹の声だけが私の唯一の仲間でした。私はこの作品が大好きです。
