Jag ville fånga Hawaiis sanna väsen och tillbringade dagar med att utforska vikar, klippor, hav och stränder. Jag drogs tillbaka till Queen's Bath, där havet slog mot klipporna. När jag ställde upp mitt stativ på klippkanten såg jag hänförd på när solen och molnen sträckte sig upp mot himlen. Det var bara en kort ljusshow och jag tog en serie bilder. Jag använde lång exponering för att ge de rörliga vågorna en målerisk känsla. Jag valde den här bilden med vattenfallen i förgrunden, som leder in i denna episka bakgrund.
