미국 풍경의 장엄한 웅장함은 저를 사진작가로 진정으로 영감을 준 요소입니다. 협곡을 내려다보는 절벽 가장자리에 서서, 저는 그 장엄한 광경에 경외감을 느꼈습니다. 지난 주 동안 엄청난 여름 폭풍이 있었습니다. 저는 공원에 있었고, 이날 저녁 무언가 큰 일이 일어날 것 같은 느낌이 들었습니다. 제가 가장 좋아하는 지점으로 하이킹을 가서 일몰을 준비하는 동안, 전기 같은 파란 하늘이 불타는 구름으로 뒤덮였습니다. 천둥소리가 계곡 전체에 울려 퍼지는 가운데 연속 촬영을 했고, 이 사진을 제 갤러리용으로 선택했습니다.
The print captures the layered rock formations so sharply that I can almost feel the dry Utah heat just looking at it. It’s hung above my desk and every time I glance over, I’m back on that cliff edge, breathless.
The colors of the canyon at sunset are so true to the real thing it's like having the overlook right in my living room. Everyone who's seen it on my wall has stopped to ask where I took the photo.
The depth in this print is unreal—you can almost feel the cliff edge dropping away into the canyon. Framed it in our hallway and guests keep stopping to ask where it was shot.
