Fitzroy Island is only forty minutes away from Cairns, but a million miles away from reality. Early one morning before the crowds had arrived, I happened across this old wooden rowboat moored just off the beach. The sun reflecting off the boat really emphasized the depth and clarity of the water. I shot off a couple of frames and then swung the camera vertically. This was the shot of the day – just another day in paradise!
