2009年9月30日–マウント・ベーカーの山頂に今シーズン初の雪が降りました。前日までは太陽が輝き、山には雪が一粒もありませんでした。私はキャンピングカーを停めて一晩過ごし、日の出に合わせて目覚ましをセットしました。到着したとき、私は完全に圧倒されました！一瞬、別の場所にいるのかと思いました。心臓が高鳴る中、機材を手に取り、薄明かりの中をこの魅惑的な湖のほとりまでハイキングしました。このショットを撮る直前、太陽が雲の間から顔を出し、尾根の端を優しく照らしました。それがこのショットを特別にした魔法の一瞬でした！母なる自然が一晩でこんなにも変わるなんて、本当に信じられませんでした。静寂に包まれたこの光景は、私のシャッター音だけが響いていました。
